How long does it take to get the return mail from an inmate at Lexington FMC Camp?

This is my first time contacting anyone in prison so I know nothing about the rules.
I just found out an old friend got sent to Lexington FMC Camp and I sent a letter and it's
been a couple of weeks I just wanted to what the normal time it takes to get a reply from
an inmate if they respond as soon as they can and if they have to follow any kind of set reply
standards or a certain time when they are allowed to reply to the mail any help will be greatly appreciated

Hey Ryan, they go through their mail and it depends on if your LO has stamps and paper and all that but I would say if they write you right back prob a week or so depending on how far away you are. My son is 9 hours away from me in the camp at Jesup GA, it usually takes Abt a week for him to get mail and about the same for me to get one back. We're new to this prison thing too but any more questions I'll be happy to help. There are several groups on FB you may want to join as well that offer great support and guidance.
