Hello im new here the father of my kids just surrendered at fci Florence camp in Colorado. I was wondering how i can go about sending him a care package . And if its normal for him to have to wait 28 days to kmow who is case worker will be?

No packages in the federal system. All you can do is put money on his commissary..then when he has privilege's, if not locked down or with spending limits - then he can buy what he needs - not an easy prison.

The charges and court documents are different than the Bureau of Prisons managing them after sentencing. Your best bet would be to Google their name with other keywords like, "sentencing" or "arrested". You can often find articles or court documents that way. Sometimes you can find a case number that way and once you have the case number and specific court, you can use that court's document retrieval system to pull court documents for that case.

I’ve been trying to call the Victorville camp
(med II) and I can’t seem to get through…. All I want too see if my cousin is in the hole…. What else can I do to get through ?? Is there any CO’s that work there can help me find out ??

They can't release that information I don't even know if they can release information that he's there but I know for a fact that you can't tell you if he's in the hole and if he is for what reason so the only thing I can tell you is write him a letter cuz he can receive letters and he can write letters and that's about it if he is in the hole they won't allow him to make a phone call or anything else like that

My fiancée was transferred to LEE over a month ago. The only way I know this is from this app notifying me. He has not been able to make any calls due to lockdown but that ended Monday so can anyone tell me how I can verify he’s ok!?? I thought he would’ve been allowed to call to notify family he was transferred regardless of the lockdown!!! PLEASE any info you have can help. I’m so worried about him😞

Lee county is horrible because my husband got broken eye sockets broke nose broken jaw n had to go to ICU n I'm jus glad he made it out alive but sucks because he's bk in the same state jus not in the same prison he's in gilmer now

So recently the inmate I know is in the shu due to unfortunate circumstances so I am wondering how would I find out king he is going to be in there and what kind of information can I get from calling into USP LEWISBURG FACILTY.

They Will not give you any information regarding any inmate. Only if they are housed there. They Will say that they can not stop you from going online and looking up the prison is there is any news ect.....

So a friend of mine was in FCI BEAUMONT Medium he’s now in ADX Florence High. Any one know why they would move inmates to a higher level of security. He was snitched on for being a mule for the cartel so no terrorist or dangerous inmate.

If they moved him to a higher security level there's a lot of reasons that could have happened one if he got in trouble and received an infraction depending the number of the infraction. If it's a 100 series 200 series or 300 series on up it can affect his security level. If there was a keep separate and someone put it on him then he would be moved to a higher level and if they added his points wrong and until they correct that if his points put him in a higher level they will move him to

I really jus want know when Gary will be getting sent to a different prison or how long he's gonna be in the shu? Because not hearing from him shit sucks. Ik he said they told him he would leave the waiting game jus sucks because I wish he was able to call more than jus once a month

My husband just got transferred out of the shu to a different facility. It was horrible the minimum contact, not knowing what to expect. He was in Florence and the kept him in for a year while the case against him and his coworkers was being investigated. They won't transfer them until they have there hearing
I suggest you call up there regularly to let them know that he's not alone. Write him And try to be positive when he calls though I know it's difficult. Hang in there and I wish you the best of luck.

Ik it's horrible my husband Gary gotten his ass beaten by the COs they broke his eye sockets his jaw nose and his teeth pretty much killed him in wv n now he's bk in wv 5 yrs later smh

My fiance was arrested by federal cops on the rez sep23 I can't find him the bail bonds couldn't find him all it says when you look him up is no release date and not in bop custody he isn't in the county jail either could he be in a hospital?

Normally not email in the traditional sense, but they typically do have a "digital letter" system which is kind of like email, but also usually costs per "email" sent. Receiver will need to have an account with whatever system the facility uses (for example some use a service called JPay).

Definitely depends on where is housed. Jail, state, and federal are completely different. Like stated above there are message systems. Some jails have texting devices called chirps, then there are tablets with systems through secures and jpay. The best way to find out is either calling or sometimes listed on doc. I know fed is corrlinks which is free for us to send emails through their system. The inmate has to send you an invite to your email and put money on to pay per message from their books.

Hello I am new here, I have a question how can I find my family member if he doesn’t come up on the bop. He is still in the fed jail they didn’t grant him a release prior to trial anyone know how else I can find him.

He goes to trial 12/12. He was picked up in California flown to Oklahoma them went to ND and Minnesota

I suspect it has something to do with him not being convicted yet. I've seen some cases where someone is assigned a register number before their trial, but even searching for the exact register number, they don't show up until they are convicted. I've also seen a couple cases where a self-surrender doesn't show up in the system even after they have a register number and are convicted until they actually report to prison.

Not exactly sure what the reasoning is... maybe a "privacy" thing and they are innocent until proven guilty? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had this issue with my fiance when he was in bop custody but not in their facility. They had housed him in a county facility then a privately run ICE facility(even though he's a citizen). They were just housing him but the bop site just said not in BOP custody. But he popped up once he hit Oklahoma for designation. Since he hasn't been convicted yet I would try contacting his Federal public defender first. Call your region's office and they will be able to tell you who that is. They should be able to give you this information. Either that or the U.S . Marshall's office in the region. Simply because they are the ones who are responsible for his housing and transport until and if convicted. They can't tell you when they are moving him but they should be able to tell you his location.

The surest way would be via normal mail. Just make sure you include their inmate registration number when you address it to them.

Each prison has a different way to electronically communicate with inmates. That’s why I would suggest asking the facility directly. They will be able to direct you the best way for their facility.

No worries… it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to track the inmate if it’s someone you care enough to know where they are. The prison system can move an inmate at any time. So it lets you get an alert if they are moved. Search for them here and then click their name once you find them:

Snail mail will be your best bet, since you can't just pick up the phone and ask them. They probably can receive electronic letters (depending on the facility), but how to do that will be different depending on the inmate/facility. Probably best to write them a letter and ask them if they can receive electronic correspondence.

Thank you, he finally called me. But he gave me a website to go to that will send them 2 pictures 3 times a week and a small letter. But he must have spelled it wrong. He said it was www.aneelio.org but it went there and I'm pretty sure it's not right. Any clue what he is talking about?
